At MK Dev Studio, your location privacy is our absolute priority. This Privacy Policy explains how Yatri Alarm accesses, uses, and safeguards your location data strictly on your device.

1. Core Principle: On-Device Processing

Yatri Alarm is a location-based GPS alarm designed to alert you as you approach a destination. To provide this utility, the app uses your location data. However, we never upload, transmit, log, or share your location data with any server or third party. All calculations (such as distance and radius checks) are performed entirely offline on your device.

2. Background Location Access

To function effectively as a travel alarm, Yatri Alarm requires permission to access your location in the background (even when the screen is off or you are using another application).

• Purpose: This access is necessary to calculate your distance from your target destination while you sleep or use other apps, ensuring the alarm sounds at the correct time.
• Control: Background location tracking is only active when you have configured and explicitly turned on a destination alarm. Once the destination is reached or you manually turn off the alarm, background location access is immediately stopped.

3. Data Retention

Your saved destinations and coordinates are stored locally on your device within the app's secure sandbox. They are never backed up to our servers because we do not run any database or cloud servers. Clearing the app data or uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of your destination history.

4. Zero Analytics and Zero Ads

Yatri Alarm does not contain advertisements, third-party analytics trackers, or profiling SDKs. We do not monitor how often you travel, where you travel, or which settings you use.

5. Device Permissions

To deliver its core utilities, the app requests the following system permissions:

• Location (Fine/Coarse): To read GPS coordinates for distance measurements.
• Background Location: To monitor boundaries while the app is in the background.
• Notification / Sound Alerts: To ring the alarm and display notifications when you enter the radius bounds.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any changes.
